I was running late for work. He was not letting me go. He asked I said yes and ran out the door.

My Fiance auditioned for a game show last february. He told the producers at the audition, he wanted to take the opportunity to propose to his girlfriend (me). My finance never told me he had said that. He is an outgoing guy and i assumed he was really up for the challenge of stardom ha ha. We got flights paid for us to Sydney to film the show. It was then that he won and also got down on one knee to propose to me. I cried and it was one of the happiest moments in my life. Apparently everyone in that studio knew about this, everyone apart from me.

Craig & I met on a singles website on a Tuesday night. We spoke only for a little while, and then he suggested he drive up to Newcastle the next day from Wollongong so we could meet face to face. I agreed, it sounded wonderful.
We met down at Belmont near the lake, and sat and talked for 5 hours. I couldnt believe how time just slipped away from us. Unfortunately, he had to leave as he started work early the next morning, and i had to pick my daughter up from school at 3pm.
That saturday was his 38th birthday, so if i could get a baby sitter, maybe we could spend more time together and get to know each other a bit more. We booked a hotel room to stay at which was nice. We went out later that night for dinner.
I couldnt get enough of him, with all of his stories about his childhood, his interests, his family and friends. He was so interesting. It felt like we’d known each other forever.
The following day after we said goodbye, he text messaged me and was skirting around the question to marry him. It was driving me nuts. So, straight to the point, i asked him what he wanted to say. He said that he couldnt imagine spending his life with anyone else. I was gob-smacked! This is what i wanted, and i wasnt sure how to answer him. So, i said yes.
We’re planning on a very short engagement. Why put off what feels so right. So this november we’re planning on a beachside wedding, with close family and friends. It will be one the best days in both of our lives.

My fiance and I were working in the same company for about a year and never knew eachother. I never saw him before nor had he seen me. I was working in the call centre as a dispatch and he was a technician out in the field.
I was really close to his brother and friends but never got the chance to meet him. At the time, we were both heart broken.. pretty much in pieces. one day, the company had a meeting for the technicians, they came in the office, he walked in and that was the first time we saw eachother, even to know that we exist..
I was all dressed up and sparkling and he was in his uniform, sweating and so adorable. Our first eye contact was the longest eye contact in our whole relationship it was like electricity struck me from tead to toe. We lost contact of our surrounding and we just stared. His brother and friends noticed that it was love at first sight, and yes it was. Now we are planning to get married but we are on a tight budget at the moment so a lot of planning is required..
