During my trip back to Launceston for friends visitation, he has quietly arranged for a surprised proposal at the place where our memories formed. On the 5th day of my trip in Launceston, I was invited by a friend to a restaurant where he and I celebrated for our first anniversary – Springwater Restaurant. As I stepped into the restaurant, I was brought to a table at a quiet corner next to the window, where I found a black box. As I opened the box, I saw the most wonderful hand-made album that took my breath away. It was filled with the photos of our memories in Tasmania with loving and touching words that brought tears of joy to my face. As I turned to the middle of the book, my favourite song, L-O-V-E, was in the air. As I turned back, there I saw my prince charming, the lover of my soul, Joel, standing there with a bunch of roses and a ring in his hand. As I turned to the last page of the album and saw the words ’Will you marry me?’, he was already on his knee handling me the favourite Tiffany diamond ring. With much tears on my face, I accepted his expression of love firmly. On that night we celebrated our engagement with our closest friends in Launceston with a sumptuous dinner and a champagne toast at Dynasty Restaurant. It was a holiday that we will never forget!
